This article will show you how to set iDeer Blu-ray Player as default player for your mac and auto play Blu-ray disc movies on Mac. When you insert a Blu-ray disc into Blu-ray drive, Mac system will help you detect iDeer Blu-ray Player and use it to play the movie automatically.
iDeer Mac Blu-ray Player is officially authorized Blu-ray player program for Blu-ray playback on Mac computers and devices. It supports all Blu-ray forms, such as disc, folder and ISO files, and delivers high-quality picture and sound as well as any format of movie, video, audio, music, and photo. On version 1.4.5, Auto Play function was added to iDeer Mac Blu-ray. Please follow below steps to set Auto Play function.
Step 1 Free download iDeer Mac Blu-ray Player if you do not have one, and make sure it is the latest version.
Step 2 Select Check File Associations... option under Tools menu.
Only one click, iDeer Mac Blu-ray Player will be set as your Mac’s default Blu-ray player. When you insert a Blu-ray disc into your Blu-ray drive, iDeer Mac Blu-ray player will automatically start and play the movie.
If it doesn’t work, or you want to cancel Auto Play, please follow step 3 and 4.
Step 3 Click Preferences under iDeer Blu-ray Player.
Step 4 Select Playback tab, you can set and cancel Auto Play by checking or unchecking “Auto play when you insert disc” option.
